Brunel Scaffolding has completed the erection of an external scaffold and handrail to the roof of Lemon & Co Solicitors on commercial road, Swindon. The scaffold has full height debris netting, pedestrian protection and Hilti masonry ties into the brickwork of the building. A pavement licence was required from Swindon council to allow us to base the scaffolding on the pedestrian pavement which runs adjacent to the building. 

Brunel Scaffolding completed the erection of a designed loading bay for Great Western Hospitals new MRI scanner. The work was completed over two phase, the first was to remove the windows and the second was the final erection of the loading bay for the scanner to be lowered onto.

Brunel Scaffolding has this week started erecting scaffold to the underside of the Littleton Drew M4 bridge. The work should take around 3 days to complete and be ready for CRL to commence their works come Friday 1st of July 2014. The scaffolding was designed by Optima and was erected by one of our SSSTS scaffolders.

Brunel Scaffolding has completed the latest scaffolding to a hangar at Middle Wallop, the scaffold took approximately six weeks to erect working from a design engineered by Optima Scaffold Designs Ltd.The scaffolding was used by the main contractor: Rooftech to re-clad the existing roof and replace the internal gutters and down pipes. Hangar 4 is used by the British army to house various helicopters and other aviation hardware. 

Brunel Scaffold have erected an Internal temporary staircase to the first floor atrium area of the new construction department for Swindon New College. We have also erected a double handrail with toe-boards to the leading edge of the first floor which are fixed to the steel frame for support.

Brunel Scaffolding have been on the site in Tidworth for little over two months. Construction work is well under way with the scaffolding to the main school almost completely up to full height. The internal birdcages have been erected and dismantled with only a small section of double handrail left remaining. 

Brunel Scaffolding has finished the erection of scaffolding to the ‘The Old Waterworks’ in Cirencester for the required repair works to the skylights.

The Scaffolding required a street pavement licence from Gloucestershire highways with a full protection lift which was erected to the top lift of scaffold prevent any falling debris to the footpath below.
